Cased Italian Uberti, Colt Model 1860 Army .44 Calibre Single Action Percussion Revolver With Engraved Naval Battle Cylinder Scene & Accessories **UK 2002 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** D 1526 - D 1526

The Colt Model 1860 Army was a a muzzle-loading cap & ball .44-calibre revolver used during the American Civil War. Made by Colt's Manufacturing Company, they were used as a side arm by Cavalry, Infantry, Artillery troops, and Naval forces. The Colt design lives on today in the form of quality black powder reproductions from Italian manufacturers Uberti, Pietta, and Euroarms. This deactivated Uberti made example of the Colt Army revolver is in excellent condition. The pistol has an 8" blued steel barrel and measures 14" overall. The barrel is crisply stamped by the maker Uberti with the Company’s Italian address & the frame has model detail ‘Model 1860 Army Cal.44’ and the barrel 'Black Powder Only made In Italy'. It has a brass trigger guard with extended tang, blued frame & cylinder with crisp naval battle cylinder scene and excellent polished wood grips. The pistol is serial number 72542. Deactivated to UK specification in 2002 the pistol cocks and dry fires crisply, its cylinders are open and the barrel is blocked. The pistol is complete with wood case. The inside of the case is lined with red felt & contoured to snugly fit the pistol. The case has compartments for accessories which consist of a brass and copper black powder flask with embossed decoration, an empty percussion cap tin with ‘Richland Arms Co Made In Italy’ labelling, a brass and steel double bullet and ball mould & several moulded lead balls. The case has a clasp fastener which works as it should. The price for this excellent complete set includes deactivation certificate & UK delivery**This Firearm is deactivated to one of the pre- 2nd May 2017, UK specifications. We can arrange for this firearm to be brought up to the latest UK/EU specification (customers can purchase on our lay-away scheme.
