~ Circa 1800 Ketland Volunteer Light Dragoon Flintlock Pistol ~

The fully stocked pistol has brass fittings, the lock plate is stamped for the maker 'Ketland'. It is fitted with its ramrod and flint.

~ Condition ~

The barrel is probably a later replacement with a welded repair by the muzzle, this is reflected in the price. All the other parts are fine. The lock works well with a strong spring on both half and full cock. The stock is complete with the usual bruising.

The pistol is 37 cm (14.25 inches) in total length with a 21 cm (8.25 inch) barrel.
