This is a 1953 dated British L5 MK 2 3.5 inch practice HEAT (High Explosive Anti-Tank) round designed to be fired from the American 3.5 IN M20A1 rocket launcher used by the British army in the 1960. This round retains alot of its original painted finish. The blue practice warhead is stenciled in white KT PRAC 3.5in UK M29 MK 1/59. Lower down the blue projectile is stenciled in white PRACTICE 5. The green rocket motor is stenciled in yellow T53 BRIT M7 11/53 (November 1953 date) B S 19486 and in red within a red circle 20° 120°F. There is a red and white band round the rocket motor.
