INERT Rare Unfired German WW2 1943 Dated 8.8cm (88 x 822R) HE Round For The Tiger ll Tanks 88mm KwK43 Gun and the PaK 43 Anti- Tank Gun. Sn O 1115 - O 1115

This is a Rare INERT unfired German WW2 1943 dated 8.8cm (88 x 822R) High Explosive (HE) round used in the Tiger II tanks 88mm KwK43 gun and in the PaK 43 anti-tank. The 8.8 cm KwK 43. versions of this gun were mounted in a number of German armored vehicles under different designations, including theTiger II, Elefant, Jagdpanther tanks and Nashorn tank destroyers. The copper washed steel case for this round retains much of its original copper washed finish. The cartridge case is headstamped bzs (Witkowitzer Bergbau u. Eisenhuetten Gewerkschaft, Sudetenland ) 43 - Click here to reveal phone number - t over 8,8KwK 43 . The steel primer is stamped arl (Bergmann Elektrizitaetswerke AG, Berlin-Wilhelmsruh) 106 C/22St 42 (1942). The high explosive projectile is fitted with two sintered iron driving bands and still retains some of its original white stencilling. The AZ23 steel nose fuse retains much of its original green painted finish and is stamped AZ23 aqs (Johannes Erhard, Jnh. H. Wandenmaier, Sueddeutsche Armaturenfabrik, Bronze u.
