INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an unfired 1935 dated armour piercing trace (AP/T) round for the Swedish 20mm Pvkan m/39 (Solothurn S18-1000) and Lvakan m/39 (Rheinmetall) Anti-Tank Rifles manufactured by Polte Armaturen- u. Maschinenfabrik AG, Magdeburg, later renamed Polte-Werke for the Swedish government for use by their anti-tank rifles. The round consists of a brass cartridge case which is headstamped P 35 (1935 date) Waa 780. The steel armour piercing trace projectile has a copper driving band and retains much of its original light brown painted finish with a 6mm wide white band above the copper driving band. the projectile is stencilled in black above the driving band 40/10 Waa732. The round was also interchangeable with the Lhati L-39 anti-tank rifle.
