Description

Largest selection of genuine antique weapons for sale in UK. See our website andrewbottomley.com Ref 3646. A scarce .72 calibre Norwegian RIFLED Military percussion pistol, Circa 1835. Originally fitted to accept a shoulder stock. Manufactured at the KONIGSBERG arsenal and the lock is stamped with a K over crown. British proof marks to the 10 inch barrel. The pistol fitted with a brass fore-end cap and a brass butt cap. Walnut Stock. Brass trigger guard, the lock fitted with a dog safety to hold back the hammer. The iron back strap has a socket for the shoulder stock. Good crisp action. In well used condition with some minor dings and repairs. Overall length 16.5 inches. Ref 3646.
