The Ruger Security Six and its variants, the Service Six and Speed Six were a product line of double action revolvers introduced in 1971, manufactured by Sturm, Ruger & Company. The introduction of the Security Six marked Sturm Ruger’s first attempt to enter the double action revolver market. These revolvers were marketed to Law Enforcement Agencies & The Military. This is a superb double action, stainless steel, .357 Magnum Ruger Security Six, 6 Shot revolver. It has adjustable rear sights and stepped blade foresight. It has a 3" barrel and is fitted with black composite chequered grips inlaid with the Sturm Ruger roundel. The stainless steel and grips are unblemished and the pistol cocks and dry fires perfectly. The right side of the frame is crisply stamped with 'Ruger Security Six' model detail and Ruger trademark. The barrel is stamped with '.357' Calibre detail. The left side of the barrel is stamped with the Ruger address (illustrated). This pistol is complete with additional original undamaged chequered wood grips with Ruger roundels inset and a quality brown leather holster. The holster has a single retaining loop with single stud fastener. It has 2 belt loops configured to be worn high on the waist for concealment. The rear of the holster is impressed 'Made in England, 115 Mod-10 H/8 ' and with the Price Western Leather Company manufacturer's 'PWL roundel'.
