WW1 Era British Officers Brown Leather Covered Swagger / Riding Crop Sword Stick & Scabbard With Retaining Strap. Sn 20560 - 20560

This is an excellent original British Officers brown leather covered swagger / riding crop sword stick. It has a clean 10 ½” steel blade which narrows to a sharp point (The sword stick itself is 14 ¼” overall length). In its scabbard the swagger / crop measures 20 ½” overall. The blade has no maker or date marks. The wood grip with ball end & wood scabbard are expertly bound in strips of woven brown leather with a leather riding crop flap tip and a leather cord near to the throat which when looped over the ball end pommel prevents the sword stick from falling from the scabbard. NB this loop is not a wrist strap and to protect it from damage should only be used for its intended purpose. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 20560
