The 9mm Sten was mass produced from pressed metal parts as an urgent production for the British War effort. This is an excellent WW2 MK II Sten Sub Machine Gun with skeleton shoulder stock. It has very faint English manufacturer's stamps S&S (Spear & Son of Enfield Now Spear & Jackson) together with serial number ‘71662’ & 'MK II' stamped on the magazine housing. The weapon is fitted with an original webbing sling. Deactivated to UK/EU specification in 2023, the weapon’s trigger moves, The cocking handle locks back and moves forward under spring tension & the magazine can be removed.
