~ New Specification Deactivated Lee-Enfield No. 4 Drill Rifle L59A1 ~
This rifle is an excellent example of a drill rifle as used by cadets, the last one to be made by Enfield. It is painted and marked with 'DP' on the stock and on the barrel wooden frame.
The rifle is stamped on the right side of the chamber with 'Drill Rifle L59A1, 244807'.
All major parts are stamped with the military broad arrow including the bolt which is also stamped with 'L1'.
The rifle comes with its carrying strap and its deactivation certificate dated 31/01/2014.
It cocks and dry fires.

~ Dimensions ~
The barrel has a length of 25 inches (64 cm), with the rifle having an overall length of 43.5 inches (110 cm). It weighs 4.16 kg.
~ Condition ~
The rifle is in an overall excellent condition.
There is some minor wear and scratching to the wood, as expected for its age, and negligible spots of surface rust on the bolt.
