This is an excellent 20th century presentation Truncheon. It is just under 15 ½” overall length and made of undamaged Lignum Vitae Tropical Hardwood. The truncheon is mounted with a white metal shield presentation shield. The shield is engraved ‘Presented To B. A. West Esq As A Mark Of Appreciation From The Golfers Of "V" Division Metropolitan Police’. The staff has a deep grooved grip with rounded end fitted with leather wrist strap in excellent condition.
