Afghan Martini-Henry Single Shot .45 Rifle

Afghan-produced 'Khyber Pass' Martini-Henry cavalry carbine.

The barrel and receiver appear to be Afghan, but many of the parts appear to have been replaced with genuine items at some point, and the whole is in superb condition, including the rifling which is crisp and clear, and has a lovely patina, with copious markings throughout.

This rifle has the smaller cocking indicator, carbine fore-end, butt and fore-end sling swivels, a sword bayonet lug on the front band and clearing rod.

The action works crisply, cocks and dry fires and comes with an inert .577/.450 round.
