Bought brand new a few years ago for vermin control in our large rural garden. Owing to the steady decline of rabbits (our main pest) over the last few years this gun has seen ever declining use. At present it is carefully stored, and hardly ever used. This is my main reason for sale. Over the last few years on average it has only been used once a month, shooting less than 2 pellets per session. The air tank has been carefully filled whenever needed, and the battery in the scope has been regularly replaced.
The condition of both the gun and scope, although both are used items, is truly excellent. Please check out the images. The gun has some superb checkering on the stock along with some slected rosewood trim, it does look superb.
The gun when used with the included Hawke Sport HD 4-12x50 mil dot IR scope is unbelievably accurate. I keep it zeroed in at 25 yards and it copes well with my needs without correction from 15 to 35 yards. The scope does have mil dots, so distances under 15 yards or over 35 yards can be easily compensated for. Additionally, the scope has illuminated reticules in both red and green. These can easily be adjusted for brightness and are indespensible when using the gun in twilight conditions.
What's included,
Air Arms S410F Carbine in beech with one 10 shot magazine
Air Arms Moderator fitted to the gun
Air Arms S410 instruction booklet
Air Arms T filling adaptor
Hawke Sport HD 4-12x50 mil dot IR scope with bikini style end covers
