A rare pair of American 1800's Western Sheriff's 'plug' handcuffs with working key. These are very unusual, they have what looks to be a 'puzzle key' cut on a slant which is turned into the handcuff lock and it draws the threaded plug into the lock and locks it tight, the key can then be removed by pulling it back slightly and turning it. We believe this description to be accurate but there is very little information available to research the cuffs. The key operates both cuffs smoothly, they both lock tight. The cuffs measures 3 1/2" in diameter. They are undamaged. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 13907:40
