Description

A number of .380 caliber revolver cartridges came out of Britain in the late 1900s & early 20 Century. This cartridge was the successor to the 380 Revolver Mark I. It was used in the British Army from 1937, and also by the Singapore Police Department. The .38 revolver was not completely replaced until 1963, and saw use in the Korean War, the Suez Crisis, Malayan Emergency and the Rhodesian Bush War. Many.380 revolvers were still circulating in British military service as late as 1970. The cardboard box dated ‘R.G 31.12.61F’’. 12 cartridges in a buff cardboard box with a buff label printed in green (denoting Safety Class 6 cartridge) 'I.S.A.A.' stands for Inspector of Small Arms ammunition. The box and contents are in good condition for their age. A good collectors item. Price includes UK postage. O 1630.
