This is an apprentice made model of a 16 cylinder swash plate Stirling engine. The engine has 8 hot cylinders and 8 cold cylinders. The power output is generated by the swash plate in the middle of the hot and cold cylinder. The body and cold cylinders are made of aluminium alloy. The hot cylinders are made of stainless steel. The piston is made of wear resistant glass. The engine is powered by compressed lighter fluid held in a refillable clear gas cylinder. When the engine is fired, the engines swash plate rotates the propeller. The engine is nicely mounted on a mahogany base 7 ½ inches by 4 inches. The engine has not been tested or run.
