WW2 Luftwaffe Pilot's Arm Compass Model AK39 and Strap.

This is an original, WW2 Arm Compass issued to German Luftwaffe Pilots. The compass is the second pattern (Fl.23235-1) with the white backed model incorporating rifle type sighting aids and dual rotating semi-circular discs on the underside for course setting. The earlier plain black version (Fl.23235) featured only a luminous lubber’s line for orientation. The bakelite compass is complete with its original strap with metal buckle for wearing on the arm over Flight suits. The compass functions as it should.
