Soviet Cold War Era TR-8 Trench Periscope with Carrying Case, Drying Cartridge, Instructions, Flat Blade Screwdriver and Lint Cloth. MISC 2023

The Tr-8 Soviet trench was adopted after wartime trials in 1945 and served with the Soviet forces in the Cold War. The periscope was usually used by snipers and reconnaissance troops. This is a near mint Soviet trench periscope complete with its carrying case with shoulder strap, its drying cartridge, instructions and original cleaning lint in its packing. Paper. The periscope retains most of its original olive green finish and is stencilled in the side of the lower mirror TP-8 a monogram NO6287. The webbing carry case has a webbing shoulder strap and contains the drying crystal plug, the drying crystals are screwed into the periscope above the eyepiece together with its instructions, flat blade for unscrewing the drying crystals and original cleaning ling in its brown paper wrapping. The periscope measures 22 inches in length and the eyepiece contains ranging reticules. The optics are in excellent condition and the price for this Soviet trench periscope includes U.K. delivery.
