German WW2, 1940 Dated, WUMAG (Waggon- und Maschinenbau AG Görlitz) Railway Wagon Manufacturers Identification Plate. MISC 2026

Waggon- und Maschinenbau AG Görlitz traded under the name WUMAG and were a major manufacturers of rolling stock in Germany before WW2 and during the conflict. This is an alloy railway wagon manufacturers plate made in Nazi Germany in 1940. The oval plate is cast in aluminium and measures 5 ½ inches by 2 7/8 inches. the rear of the plate is stamped GAL-Mg-Si. The plate is damaged to one side which would appear to have been made on its removal. The price includes U.K. delivery. MISC 2026
