An original Zulu knobkerrie War club. Also spelt knobkerrie, knopkierie or knobkerry, they are clubs used mainly in Southern and Eastern Africa. Typically they have a large knob at one end and can be used for throwing at animals in hunting or for clubbing an enemy's head in battle. The heavy ball club head is formed from the Heart wood of the Tropical hard wood tree (the strongest part of the tree).
