This is an original WW2 Japanese Infantry Combat Helmet shell. The steel helmet shell without liner and chinstrap has its original brown paint finish and no damage. The front of the helmet has the original metal ‘star’ infantry badge. The rear inner rim of the shell has an original hand painted single Japanese Kanji character (illustrated).
