This is an original WW2 era Nazi SS Headquarters Office” Enamelled Metal Building Sign most likely an allied soldier’s war souvenir bring back. The sign retains its black and white enamel finish. It measures 7” x 4 ¾” and features a representation of the War Merit Cross (Kriegsverdienstkreuz) style motif, combined with Nazi Party imagery, SS runes & German text "DER WEG DER NSDAP" Literally: "The Path of the NSDAP", "Der Reichsführer SS" The Reich Leader of the SS" ( Heinrich Himmler, the head of the SS). "SS-Hauptamt" (SS Headquarters Office). The 4 corners of the sign are holed for building wall mounting. The sign has no damage or dents and has just surface wear and light rust to exposed metal to be expected with age. Sn 23626
