The German Labour Front (German: Deutsche Arbeitsfront / DAF) was the national labour organization of the Nazi Party, which replaced the various independent trade unions in Germany during the process of Gleichschaltung or Nazification. This is an original WW2 era Nazi SS Headquarters Office Enamelled Metal Building Sign most likely an allied soldier’s bring back souvenir . The sign retains its red, black and white enamel finish. It measures 7” x 4 ¾” and features a representation of the DAF swastika within cogged wheel emblem & wording Geschäftsstelle = office / branch office, der = of the D.A.F. = Deutsche Arbeitsfront (German Labour Front). The 4 corners of the sign are holed for building wall mounting. The sign has no damage or dents and has just surface wear and light rust to exposed metal to be expected with age. Sn 23627
