1876 Pattern Socket Bayonet & Scabbard. ED 2302
An original 1876 pattern socket bayonet and scabbard for the Martini Henry .303 Infantry Rifle (British). It has a hollow ground trangular blade which is WD stamped, see photographs for blade markings. Blued elbow and socket with swivel locking ring. The overall length is 638mm, the blade length is 549mm, the socket is 76mm and the muzzle ring diameter is 18.3mm. It comes complete with it's brown leather scabbard with brass chape and locket with tear drop frog stud. It is in very good condition. Price includes UK delivery.
