Nazi German Police Dress Bayonet By Alexander Coppel Unit Marked ‘S.Ar.III. 1440’, With Cord & Portepee, Scabbard & Frog. ED 2250

An excellent Nazi German Police dress bayonet. It has it's original nickel plating on all parts. It has superb Stag Horn grips, the right mounted with Police Eagle with Swastika, Eagle head pommel & upswept, oakleaf crossguard which is stamped ‘S.Ar.III. 1440’. It has a clean 12 3/4" single edged, fullered blade with crisp manufacturer's mark ' Alexander Coppel Solingen" at the ricasso. The reverse with crisp ‘ACS’ with Scales legend. It's original black leather scabbard with nickel plated chape and locket is in similar excellent condition with all leather & stitching intact. The bayonet is complete with excellent brown leather frog and leather cord with silver bullion and red stitching and silver bullion portepee. Price includes UK delivery. ED 2250
