Janzen who authored 'Bayonets From Janzen's Notebook' book (1987) and was a well respected collector of bayonets with a collection of over 1,000 bayonets before his death. This work is a comprehensive look at the Remington Series of rifles with all known bayonets detailed by type and countries that used them. It shows all the known bayonets in colour and then black and white illustrations in the text relating to variations, scabbards, markings Etc. It also has pictures of the bayonets in wear and drawings of fine detail. The text is comprehensive with tables, production figures, contemporary adverts etc. This book is a must for any collector especially those with an interest in Remington.
