Beretta BM 59 Straight Pull 7.62x51mm NATO Rifle

Up for sale is my super rare Beretta BM 59 in .762 NATO. Straight Pull rifle

The BM 59 is truly rare weapon in the UK, many believe this is the ultimate evolution of the Garand rifle and M14. This rifle is in excellent condition with a great bore, action, and a incredible number of accessories.

This gun was originally a Springfield Arms US Military Garand rifle WW2 period, this weapon has its original markings on the barrel.

It was then re-manufactured using WW2 US surplus weapons by Beretta in 1959 into the BM 59 for Italian armed forces who required a NATO 7.62 rifle.

Not having the money to develop a new weapon, the Italian military turned to Beretta to turn the mundane Garand rifle’s into something special.

This particular rifle is fitted with a muzzle brake/flash hider, which doubles up has grenade launcher, the rifle also has additional grenade launcher sights, a winter or gloved trigger Integrated bipod, all standard features of the rifle, and one of the best of features or the the BM 59 is that it takes magazines not clips.

The BM 59 was also available in a paratrooper version, and I have obtained the paratrooper version folding stock for the weapon, which is currently fitted to the gun, with the scope removed.

Included in the sale of the rifle are SADLAK steel screw free BM 59/ Garand scope mounts, again very hard to acquire in UK took a lot of work to get these mounts imported, and replica M82 period scope, long with period Lyman rings.

An Italian correctly marked BM 59 Bayonet.

A small number of 7.62 rounds and some 7.62 blank ammunition, if you feel the need to launch a dummy grenade.

This is a serious bit of kit and I would prefer a face-to-face transaction so you can see the quality of this weapon, also the amount of extra parts may be an issue shipping.

The weapon is currently located in Ware Hertfordshire.
