Description
A French highly decorative engraved single shot pin-fire pistol by the St.Etienne gunmaker Boissy. C1855-1865. The frame finely engraved with decorative flowers, foliage and the makers name Boissy engraved on side of the frame. Bag shaped ebony grip. Barrel drops forward to load when the under-lever is moved to one side. Calibre approx 8mm. Overall length 5.5 inches. In good condition and working order, showing no signs of wear.
Very good bore.
