This is not a deactivated weapon but a firearms quality, all-metal replica of a WWII German MP40 made by the Model Gun Company of Japan (MGC). Widely regarded to be the best MP40 replica ever made, the MGC replicas have always been highly sought after by collectors and re-enactors. Not to be confused with the DENIX replicas or the models made by Marushin of Japan, the MGC model uses pressed steel parts for the receiver and is completely strippable just like the real thing. It has fully moving parts and a full cocking and clicking action. This model does not eject dummy rounds. The front sling point is missing but otherwise, it is in excellent condition with much finish remaining and tight stock movement. The gun has maker marks and faux Nazi waffenamt that would normally be found on original WW2 examples. The gun comes with its original retail box with maker and model detail. The box contains original product information leaflets & a colourful 1978 / 79 Sussex Armoury catalogue. Unfortunately as this is a replica it does fall under the restrictions of the Crime Reduction Act. This means that we can only sell it to registered re-enactors, film and theatre companies.
