An excellent original leather Royal Navy cordite charge carrier. Constructed of Leather, cork and canvas, these carriers were used on Battleships by the Royal Navy prior to, during and after both World Wars to carry the cordite charges for Naval guns. The front has traces of colourful heraldic Arms of Great Britain It has a complete canvas lining & heavy duty leather carry handle which is impressed with WD arrow and letters and numbers (all illustrated).
