This is a rare, British, 1918 dated firing pin assembly for the 13 and 18 pounder quick firing field guns which were used extensively by British forces in the First World War. The firing pin assembly is made of machined steel and is stamped on two places Q.F. 13& 18 PR 1 T.G 1918 (date). The firing pin assembly is in excellent condition and is nicely stamped.
