Thought to be supplied with Mark 1 Meteors (Birmingham Small Arms introduced the Meteor Air rifle in both .177 & .22 calibre in 1959. MK 1 rifles were produced until 1962 when the MK II model was introduced. MK II production continued until 1968) which were claimed to be the first air rifle to come with a dedicated scope.
