The breakdown pattern , as BSA named it was marked for the Junior market rather than those who wanted a target or sporting air rifle. This was BSA’s first attempt at making a break barrel air rifle before 1939. The barrel is 18 ½” long, 41” overall. (See ‘The Book of the BSA Air Rifle 1905-1939’ pages 147 to 155. Signed hardback copies available on our site). The Rifle cocks, loads & fires as it should with a strong spring action. The metal work has even patina throughout. It has open rear sights with thumb wheel adjuster. The serial No is displayed above the trigger ‘B2907’.
