BSA Mercury MK2 .22

The BSA Mercury is a break barrel, spring powered, Air Rifle first produced in 1972 by the Birmingham Small Arms Company and then Gamo (UK) Limited. It was manufactured in .177 (4.5 mm) .22 (5.5 mm) and .25 (6.35 mm), the latter named the "635 Magnum". The Mercury was marketed between the BSA Meteor and Air Sporter models and was a light, easy to use rifle, giving a 11 ft/lbs of energy. Rifle Length: 104 cm. Barrel Length: 47 cm. Weight: 3 kg. BSA MERCURY is printed on the top of the cylinder. BSA Guns England Cal .22 is printed on the barrel, and the serial No – ZB 13028 (which dates the rifle between 1974 & 1978) is printed beneath the barrel. The blueing on the barrel and cylinder is in good condition and has some minor use related marks. The rifle has a shrouded blade fore sight and adjustable rear sight. The rifle comes with an original and Webley 4x15 Scope and rail mount *wear to the screws*. The rifle cocks, loads and fires with a nice tight action (9.47 ft/lbs). The stock is beech and has the odd age related mark to the front and rear. The price includes UK delivery.
