Field Sport Ranges – Air Rifle, Pistol, Airsoft & Archery Range Hire

Field Sport Ranges is a family run outdoor shooting and archery facility set within woodland in the heart of the National Forest.

We offer purpose built, self-managed ranges for people with their own equipment, with no membership or club fees, simply book the range you want to use and enjoy your shooting.

Our facilities include 60, 80 and 90-yard air rifle ranges, dedicated air pistol and airsoft ranges, a woodland HFT course, and archery lane hire. With new ranges always being added.

Our ranges offer a variety of distances and targets, with covered shooting positions and dedicated areas for precision shooting, zeroing, plinking and practice. Facilities on site include free parking, toilets, covered shooting areas, with a small selection of pellets, paper targets available.

Pre-booking is essential and range hire is for customers bringing their own suitable equipment. New visitors complete a safety induction before using the ranges.

For those who don't own equipment but would like to give shooting or archery a try, we also run selected Have a Go Air Rifle, Archery and Clay Shooting sessions throughout the year.

Located near Coleorton and Lount in North West Leicestershire, with easy access from Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville, Melbourne, Derby and surrounding areas.

I have been coming to Field Sport Air Gun Range for a number of years now, though unfortunately, I haven't been able to visit for a while due to how busy life has been lately. Returning recently reminded me exactly why I fell in love with this place in the first place. The Atmosphere Even after some time away, the range hasn't lost its charm. It remains an incredibly nice and relaxing environment. It’s the perfect escape from a hectic schedule—a place where you can just slow down, focus on your shots, and completely unwind. The Team What truly makes this range special is the hospitality. Kelly and Clive are as incredibly friendly and welcoming as ever. Walking back in felt like catching up with old friends; they genuinely care about their visitors and go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience, whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth. Verdict ● Facility: Consistently excellent, peaceful, and well-maintained over the years. ● Staff: Top-tier warmth and hospitality from Kelly and Clive. ● Experience: 10/10 — The absolute best place to recharge and enjoy the sport.

A wonderful range setting with several different types of ranges for using your own sub 12 ft pound air rifles and sub 6 ft pound air hand guns. A 90 yards range for paper targets, 80 yards range for general plinking at a multitude or metal targets and a field target range to challenge your distance estimations and accuracy with drop down targets. There are also exciting developments hinted for the near future. An excellent place to meet beginners through to experts with an array of knowledge, run by friendly staff who know how to deliver shooting experiences to enjoy. Definitely my place to go to unwind and enjoy myself.

Came here on birthday 2 weeks ago and I got to say the owner is 1 in a million. Took me on a tour after I had finished my shoot and I loved it will be making regular trips here from now on … what a hidden gem this is wish I found this place sooner

What a fantastic day out! We booked the Zombie blast experience and had a whale of a time. Paul, our instructor, was amazing, giving us expert attention whilst making us laugh with various pieces of dead zombie! And we got to shoot a pump action shotgun! Very "gangster!" The place is easy to find and we were greeted at the entrance and given full instructions on how to proceed. The site is very well kept and has areas for all kinds of activities. All the staff we met were really friendly and seemed to love their jobs. Will definitely be booking a return visit.

ive used this range for some years and throughout this time i have seen a constant ethos towards improving the many different ranges on offer for the shooters enjoyment and experience. but above all there ongoing policy for safety is 2nd to none. all first time visitors watch a comprehensive safety video, safety barriers on ranges where your own targets can be put out. cctv cameras covering the whole site. it really is a mecca for the airgun enthusiast. highly reccomended👍
