In one sentence: it keeps your certificate, your guns, your ammunition and your ballistics in one place, on your phone, with no account and no signal needed.
What sets it apart:
It knows the ticket. Firearm and shotgun certificates, conditions and calibres, ammunition quotas, and the differences between England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Deer law per jurisdiction is built into the bullet search, so a .243 is offered for roe in Scotland and for muntjac in England, and nothing else.
A catalogue built from the makers' own figures. 4,880 component bullets across 45 makers, around 4,300 factory loads from 26 makers, 640-plus cartridges and 280 powders - each figure carried with its source, and flagged where the maker publishes an estimate rather than a measurement.
A validated solver, not a black box. Drop, wind, energy and time of flight; a ballistic-coefficient calculator from two chronographs, a drop or Doppler data; trued to your own rifle. Doppler drag curves from Lapua where they exist.
Reloading and load development done as measurement. Component stock, printable ladder and harmonic targets, scan your groups back in and rank loads on spread. It presents maker data; it never recommends a charge.
Range and field records. Sessions with chronograph import (Garmin Xero), harvest and cull records, a zeroing tool that gives turret clicks from a photo of the target, and PDF reports you can hand to your FEO at renewal.
Private and offline by design. No account, no tracking, no analytics, nothing personal leaves the device. It works in a ditch in Devon with no bars.
