We are Scotland's oldest family owned Gunmaker & are Scotland's oldest rifle maker.
We have been in business since 1957 and are the only full time Gunshop north of Inverness.
Our main business is the manufacture of high grade hand made stalking rifles and we have a retail shop where we hold a stock of around 400 shotguns, rifles & air rifles.
We also stock shotgun cartridges, rimfire & centrefire rifle ammo & air rifle pellets, gun care materials, fishing tackle, optics, scope mounts, reloading powders, sound moderators etc
We specialise in British & quality European sporting guns and also stock modern Over & Under, semi auto & pump action shotguns, modern rimfire & centrefire rifles, antique centrefire & air rifles, service rifles etc
Our retail shop is open from 7pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday
We are open by appointment on Saturdays & are closed on Sundays, Xmas Day, Boxing Day & new Years Day.

Our main business is building new Stalking Rifles
We take on a small amount of customer repair work as long as it does not interfere with our core business & you must be an existing retail customer of ours.
Typical jobs that we can usually offer a quick turnaround on is Rifle barrel screw cutting & fitting moderators, new shotgun firing pins, springs, woodwork repairs & refinishing, end of season strip & clean etc
Note that at the time of writing this (August 2026) we are not taking on any more large scale restoration jobs until we clear a large backlog in our workshop.
Our main business is building new Stalking Rifles
