This is a mid 18th Century Continental Form 22 Bore Flintlock Double Barrel Sporting Shotgun. It has all original wood, half length stock with steel reinforced fore end, a portrait of a bearded mask carved to the underside of the stock. The gun has a horn capped wood ramrod. The gun has 35 ½” barrels with chiselled decoration to the breeches, the locks are fitted with roller frizzens. The barrel’s smooth bores have residue & staining consistent with age & use. The gun is 51” overall length. The action works. The price includes UK delivery.
