C1750 Continental Form 22 Bore Flintlock Sporting Shotgun With Brass Fittings & Ram Rod. Sn 23640 - 23640

This is a mid 18th Century Continental Form 22 Bore Flintlock Sporting Shotgun. It has all original wood which is in very good condition with figured cheek piece, horn fore end block and inlaid veneer star device to one side of the shoulder stock. The gun has wood ramrod, forward sling swivel and sling swivel lug on the underside of the shoulder stock. The 2 stage 28” octagonal to round sighted barrel has a smooth bore which has residue & staining consistent with age & use. The gun is 43” overall length. It has an iron cock, frizzen pan and brass furniture. The action works crisply. The price includes UK delivery.
