A small number of Mac 10s were manufactured by the factory as inert models to the pre 1995/ German spec, as can be seen from the photographs showing the internal mechanism. These were used for trade shows and are indistinguishable from the deactivated version as they are made from the same parts but as they have never been firearms they are legally defined by the Home Office as realistic imitation firearms (RIF)and therefore can be legally sold under the VCR 2006 rules.
The price for the Mac 10 is £950.00 Postage and Packing £17.00 (4%
paypal fees if applicable). The Sionics pattern suppressor can be purchased with the the Mac 10, if required at an additional cost of £365.00
Currently available and fully compliant with the Firearms Act 1982 which regulates the design of imitation firearms.
The sale of Realistic Imitation Firearms is regulated by the VCRA 2006 and any purchaser would have to comply with this legislation.
If you are not currently VCRA compliant. The procedure is simple and assistance can be given.
Please note that if the suppressor were to be fitted to a section 1 firearm it will function and therefore would require an FAC variation. If fitted to a shotgun it would be classed as a section 2 component and would not need to be entered on a certificate. It is free from restriction as an accessory of an inert model.
