Chindit Bowie Knife 1943 Other Blade

WW2 Genuine Original Chindit Bowie Knife: Solid knife, blade is sharp as a razor. Leather sheath, shows signs of wear.Securing strap for grip is missing.I would think it would benefit from a good clean and polish but was advised to leave it ' as is'.No damage to grip.and no movement,on the grip pins or crossguard. All a solid construction.Father was in 23rd/44th Indian Airborne Division and was ' attached' to the Chindits.He is mentioned on the Para Data website.
