German M16 /18 helmets were produced during World War 1. After World War 1 the Reichswehr continued using them and when Hitler came to power in 1933 these helmets saw continued use until 1945. This original WW1 German M16 /18 Combat helmet is as found & has not been messed with. It has its original olive field green hue paint. It has no dents and even aged patina. All rivets are in place and it has the correct chin strap lugs fitted with leather chinstrap with buckle. The helmet retains its original WW2 era leather liner. The helmet’s double decals are the early pre WW2 black swastika on a white roundel. The helmet is manufacturer and size stamped on the inner rim ‘EF64’ which is Emaillerwerke A.G./Fulda UK size 8 & batch number ‘22454’. The price includes UK delivery. HE 866
