Colt Colt 1860 army .44 Revolver

Original colt 44 cap n ball army cut down where the ramrod was taken off, there appears to be pewter filling have been told this looks like a period after market custom job, but I am not too sure. The gun cocks and dry fires perfectly. It looks a bit tatty, but it is a good gun
