A Croatian-manufactured HS2000 semi-automatic pistol, produced by Hrvatski Samokres and chambered in 9mm Parabellum. The pistol is identified by serial number 47572.
The HS2000 is a Croatian-designed and manufactured service pistol, and this example retains its original manufacturer and model markings. The manufacturer markings, HS2000 designation, serial number 47572 and any original Croatian proof, acceptance or production markings should be retained as part of the item's identification and provenance record.
The pistol subsequently formed part of a British military armoury collection. The pistol was subsequently transferred to a serving officer in 2015 following the decision to retain the weapon rather than destroy it. A formal letter of transfer was executed, and the pistol has remained within the same private collection since that transfer.
The pistol was deactivated in 2015 and issued deactivation certificate DA 54684. Following subsequent changes to the applicable deactivation requirements, it was submitted for further examination in 2026 and issued certificate no. 13727.
Provenance documentation includes:
• Copy of British Army letter confirming transfer of ownership to the private collection.
• Copy of MOD 7677 Issue and Receipt Voucher document recording transfer to a serving officer, if available.
• Copy of British military armoury ledger/record identifying serial 47572, subject to availability.
• Copy of 2015 deactivation certificate DA 54684.
• Original 2026 deactivation certificate no. 13727.
Provenance: Croatian manufacture → British military armoury/collection → transfer to serving officer, 2015 → continuously retained in the same private collection.
