Its calibre is .177 and it complies with the UK sub12 ft-lbs regulations.
Only 100 of these Serie Rosso’s were ever manufactured and it comes with the manual and all documentation supplied by the manufacturer, together with the Daystate Special Edition Certificate of originality.
It has been put away from new and not used, as I purchased it in the hope that it would appreciate in value as time went on.
However, I have quite a few rifles that I seldom use (too many in fact) that my wife has advised that either I sell most of them, as they are taking up a lot of room in the house, or there may be serious repercussions. As I want to avoid that situation at all cost I am now forced to sell many of them. She says she has been moaning about them for far too long now!
This particular rifle was unused until earlier this year when I decided to start using it under pressure from my wife.
I have been maintaining it religiously in its new state, charging the battery, etc., at the recommended intervals and making sure it stayed in an immaculate condition.
Since I have started to use it I have put less than a tin of pellets through it.
A couple of months ago I decided to see if I could use it for our club’s internal benchrest competition. A friend of mine, who is a skilled designer and CNC machinist, produced a front bottle bench rest for it that is 3" wide at the base (this is also suitable for UK BR competitions, as our internal competition was closely associated with UK BR rules, so it's
ready to be used competitively in UK BR competitions). This device is lightweight and made from an extremely hard plastic that has to be machined. However, it's only held on by two very small tension screws so it does not damage the bottle in any way, and can be removed in seconds.
I also purchased a PRS single loader for it two months ago to help with the benchrest competition.
It also comes with the original two magazines and colour coded moderator, plus the battery charger and a case for storing the two magazines. It’s supplied in its Limited Edition Red case to differentiate it from a normal Red Wolf.
This rifle is extremely well made and assembled with a high degree of accuracy, more so than the Red Wolf that followed, and as you would expect from a limited edition model. It is, therefore, extremely accurately and the reason I selected it from all my rifle for benchrest shooting.
I understand that the barrel and other components had been hand picked after individual component testing to ensure the best possible accuracy and fit.
As I said this is an extremely accurate rifle (more so than the standard Redwolfs) and is immaculate condition and is extremely scarce.
I believe, given its condition, that the price is fair, but willing to consider a very near offer.
This is a rare opportunity to pick-up such a scarce and extremely accurate (pellet on pellet ) Limited Edition Siere Rosso, at what I think is a reasonable price.
Should you be in the market for one then I suggest you do not delay, as once it’s gone it’s gone!
