DEACTIVATED INERT. This is an undamaged French WW1, 22/31 time and percussion nose fuse that was used on the famous French Mle 1897, 75mm field gun which was the mainstay of the French Army throughout WW1. The brass fuse is in excellent condition and is complete with its brass screw off gaine. The fuze is graduated on a spiral system from 0 to 24 on the spiral timing ring.
