DEACTIVATED INERT. This is an INERT unfired German WW2 7.5cm (75 x 493R) (APCBC/HE) Armour Piercing Capped, Ballistic Cap / High Explosive round for the Panzer IV tanks KwK40 gun and StuK40 Sturmgeschütz III and Sturmgeschütz IV assault guns gun. The brass washed steel case for this round is stamped 6339St uxf 43 (1943). The unfired APCBC/HE projectile is fitted with a sintered iron driving band. The round is complete with its original corrugated steel carrying case with a quick release catch and carrying handle on the lid. Inside the case are three vertical and one cylindrical protecting strips to help protect the round. The case retains most of its original grey paint to the inside and has about 50% of the original sand colour to the outside. The canister is stencilled on the side in black ???/dicht (waterproof?). No licence is required to possess this inert round in the UK if retained as part of a collection or display. The price includes UK delivery. O 1169
