Description

This is a Beaumont Adams Patent Double Action Revolver made by Deane and Sons in London. It is marked LAC, where it was either actually made by Deane / Adams or was sent to there for sale and export. It is marked with MAC as well, which makes it more interesting and rarer as this is one of the revolvers made for the US, namely, the Massachusetts Arms Company.

It is cased in an R Adams marked case and comes with the usual accessories you would expect to see. (Mould, flasks, some balls and a Cap Tin.

If this wasn't a great revolver on its own, it also has a unique modern production Users/Armourer's Manual. This is incredibly detailed produced from this actual revolver. The manual alone cost £500 to have produced. I don't know where else this has been carried out but not only adds value to this piece but also is superb reference material if you wanted to shoot this revolver. The revolver has been fired, with very little use (you will need to add this to an FAC in order to do this legally). The reason for the Manual and 100% inspection was to ascertain if it was safe to do so. It is in immaculate working order with no defects at all.

A point to note on this revolver is that although it has been cleaned, both before and after firing and lightly since, it HAS NOT been polished. It has had no corrosive chemicals applied to it whilst it has been in my possession (about 5 years). It is a lovely revolver and priced to sell. It makes an impressive display piece but can be used as the muzzle loading revolver of choice of the era it was designed in. Any further questions, please ask.
