Maker ‘Diana’, Millard Bros, Motherwell Lanarkshire Scotland. This is identical to the pre-war German Diana Mod 2 but is post-war seen advertised in 1956 and 1963. This example is stamped ‘MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN’ so has been made post war. The top of the cylinder is stamped with the ‘Huntress’ trademark and ‘DIANA MOD 2 MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN’. It has a wooden stock fixed to the action by two brass pins. The metalwork has been polished and is only showing minor signs of age related wear. The wooden grip is undamaged and has a used patina.
