This is an original 1933 pattern SA/ NSKK dagger and scabbard. The blade is crisply stamped by the manufacturer Puma Solingen together with trademark. The absence of Nazi RZM mark (Nazi Quartermaster’s Office) indicates early production. Puma made approximately 17,000 of these daggers and are rated as rarity value 6 (10 being highest rarity value) in the book ‘The service daggers of the SA & The NSKK’ by Siegert. The wood grip is original and undamaged. It has the correct Nazi German National Emblem and 'SA' roundel inset. It has a nickel plated cross guard marked ‘Wm’ to SA Group Westmark (Saarbrucken) & pommel. The blade has the correct crisp "Alles Fur Deutschland" inscription. The blade has some age related staining and scabbard wear. The dagger is complete with its original brown metal scabbard which has some scuffs to the finish consistent with service carry. The scabbard has a single hanging ring, nickel plated chape and throat mount. The hanging ring is fitted with buckled leather hanging strap and sprung clasp which is DRGM stamped (Nazi quality assurance mark) and has the ‘A’ maker mark of F.W. Assmann & Söhne Lüdenscheid. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 23484:108
